Hamlet does not speak to Horatio in IVv. However, in IVv, the gentleman speaks to Horatio and Gertrude about how Ophelia has gone crazy over the death of her father. Horatio suggests to Gertrude that she should speak to Ophelia. In scene IVvi, Hamlet writes a letter to Horatio telling him about how he was captured by the pirates asks that Horatio come quickly to him.
